This was one of my reasons to buy it over a stand alone at the time of release. At least it was the one BD player that was web-enabled and could accept updates via LAN. The PS3, it truly is a future proof piece of kit.
And to anybody that owns UT3, this mod makes for a great experience in this game. UT3 may be a FPS but in TP it is pretty cool. It's like Gears on crack.

You have to remember that Xbots like to use NPD data only to argue their claims. Of course, the NPD shows North American numbers only and ignors the rest of the world. Shame on them. Maybe somebody needs to let them know that there are other countries that like to play games?

Sorry, but if you are going to make a list based on anticipated RPG's, it helps to get the public's opinion and I am pretty sure that there is some desire somewhere for White Knight Story, Last Remnant, and(if it in fact is released this year) FFXIII.
Games are to the PSP as a Blade is to the Swiss Army Knife. At the moment, there are plenty of games for the PSP so I would hardly call it a dull knife. Games and all of the included extras make the PSP the best handheld device I have ever owned.
No, they don't actually degrade the picture quality of an SD format, they simply show it in 480, the standard def of the average TV in a greater number of households than HDTVs. If they used an upscale DVD player and an HDTV in 1080p you would see less of a difference that much I can say but even then, the difference between BD and SD DVDs is enough for me to make the switch. The color, clarity and sound are far better IMHO. Get that folks? IMHO.
Just apply for the Sony card and go to Sonystyle.com and order it through them. They knock off a 100 bucks on the purchase and you get a 40gb PS3 for 299. I wonder if that deal will stand for the lower priced PS3 if it in fact hits 299 retail?
Sorry, but not all gaming girls in the industry are hoes bud. Just because some gaming chick wants to wear gaming panties doesn't necessarily make them a hoe... lol

I love my PSP and to be able to play Oblivion on it... Now that would be awesome. I am only hopeful although I also have a feeling this is just a mistake on Amazon's part. I keep hope alive that one day we will play this great game on a handheld. *thumbs up*
As it would seem so, the PS3 version is better in terms of graphics and such but the writer seems tepid about not stepping on any Xbox fans toes with the whole "custom soundtracks" issue. For a year we have heard nothing but slams on the PS3 graphics and fame rates only to have a few games released superior to the competitions and what do they write about? The custom soundtracks... Can't these editors just give up the ghost and stop finding (or digging for that matter) silly idiosyn...
Only people that say that are those playing games on Live... Sorry, but more is better especially when they give you the option of going smaller. It's better to have the option to go big or small than to only have a small game at your finger tips. 4v4 in Gears was just plain silly but 30v30 will be insanely fun. Even COD4 with 9v9 makes for a great time and to deny that only makes one look stupid.

Had custom soundtracks for the Xbox. It would be nice to have this option but to be honest, I would rather play the game with the music included.
